Dr. Casey Chan's interest in Chiropractic began as a patient, through injuries related to a motor vehicle accident and competitive tennis. She saw how chiropractic helped her body heal quickly and naturally. Her interest in sports and health and her talent in solving problems made chiropractic a profession she loves.
Dr. Casey Chan is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley in Integrative Biology with a focus on human biodynamics. She received her doctorate degree, cum laude, from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. She is a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) for the Worker's Compensation system of California.
Dr. Chan joined Chan Chiropractic after her post-ceptorship at the Integrated Healing Center-Arcadia and internships at CSU Northridge, CSU Los Angeles, and the University Health Center-Pasadena. She has contributed to various competitive athletic events including USTA-sanctioned tennis tournaments, LA and US Tae Kwon Do Tournaments and others. She has also worked at local charity health faires and consultation events.
Dr. Chan grew up in San Diego and enjoys volunteering for organizations such as the Rancho Penasquitos Tennis Center, Mt. Carmel and Westview High Schools, the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of San Diego, Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches, and the California Alumni Association as an Alumni Scholarship District Chair. Her hobbies include playing tennis and basketball, volunteering, and learning about new technologies.
